Riding to the West side

Almost heaven!

Place had a small pool outside the bar. Kinda odd. The cables above the pool are for the ski gondola....

Some rain pelted us as we left. It actually felt pretty good...

As we got back to the desert, the rain disappeared...

Saw another abandoned mine on the side of the road....





Locked up pretty tightly, so no inside shots.

..and back into Gateway at sunset......

After three days at Gateway, it's time to keep moving west into Utah. Off we go...



Not a lot out here...

Quick stop at the now defunct Bedrock Store. Wish it would re-open as it was a cool place to rest out here in the middle of nowhere...

Hills are smaller but the roads are still good....

It's been nearly 3 hours since Neil ate anything, so we stop in Blanding, Utah for a burger and a milkshake. Glad I got a "small" shake..

Riding further into the desert, the rocks get redder and the trees get more sparse...

[Earache]

No one out here but us geckos...

On to Lake Powell...

I'm still thinking about trading the bike in...
