    K-100 seat part # ??

Gentlemen, My new to me 1991 K-100 LT came with a quite nice Russel "dual road" seat which I plan to use on trips but it is rather hideous for "townie" rides and the stock seat for the RT is sleek---so my questions is--the e-bay deals are for stock seat for K-100 part # 52-52-2-307-589---where can I verify that part for a 1991 K-100?---and for grins, I found a K100 stocker seat with on a single digit difference---it's 52-53-----???I was of the understanding that the seats from '86 thur '93 were the same pan??? I know, more newbie questions --JD PS--was there a stock "comfort" model also????

A good parts catalog for BMW's can be found on Bob's BMW web site.
    Look at
    http://www.bobsbmw.com/catalog/2003_...Bike_Parts.pdf

    page K9

For used seats look at the Marketplace in http://www.ibmwr.org/marketplace

I like Max BMW in New Hampshire. Nice place. Nice people. However, the last time I checked their on line parts listing, the entire part number was not available. Therefore I quit using it as a reference.
