I hate to wash my LT, every time I do then I don't want it to get it dirty and end up wiping it down a lot. I would rather leave it dirty dust it once in a while and ride alot no matter the bugs, rain, etc. Wash and put a good wax job on after last ride of year so it stays clean during winter.

"Wiping down" your bike...what does that mean? If you wipe down a dirty bike, don't you risk scratching the paint? Just curious...

I give our bikes a good cleaning as I go thru their regular services. These cleanings are done bit-by-bit, part-by-part and area-by-area as I go thru the service with the bike up on the lift. I use degreaser where needed and Simple Green in other areas and a bunch of rags (a shop can never have too many clean rags available). Wheels get a good cleaning and waxing when I change tires. I even use a detailer on black bits if I've got time. In addition to making the bike look better this procedure allows me to inspect the bike carefully as part of the service procedure. Between services I may wipe down the bike's more visible areas and remove bugs using Pledge. I seldom use a bucket and hose to clean a bike; maybe a hose-off if one is very muddy.

Honda polish....although I don't think it is called that anymore. If you go to a Honda dealer they know just what you are talking about.

I haven't put soap and water to any of my bikes for almost 15 years since I discovered this stuff. It cleans EVERYTHING!
