    Hello from Las Vegas

    Hi

    My name is Robert.

    Been riding sportbikes for almost 30 years. I wanted a touring bike for a while and recently acquired a R1150RT.

    I'm very happy with the bike and it is now my daily commuter and long distance hauler.

    Planning on doing a Iron Butt ride with it pretty soon.

    This is a great forum and it helped me quite a bit with the specifics of BMW bikes since it my first.

    I wish the best of time to those of you who will be attending the rally this weekend.

    Welcome! I am sure you will enjoy your RT. I was out your way a couple of years ago and rode mine across the Hoover Dam before the new bridge was completed. Had a great time.
