RT 50 Towns / Motels/ Diners ???

I plan on taking Rt 50 from Ohio to Jefferson City Mo. on the way to the rally. Any interesting Towns / Motels or Diners along this route ??? I will be bypassing Cincinati and St Louis.

After STL follow 100 to Washington and Hermann. Both are neat towns to see along the Missouri River. Hermann is worth spending time or the night. There are wineries, lots of places to eat and neat building to see.
