Digging the Alternate Route across the Sierra

Sticking with my philosophy of not returning by the same route if at all possible, I discovered a wonderful, new-to-me secondary road that lead me across the mountains and home (and came up with three summer riding tenets.)

    Nice:)

And folks always ask me why I leave the back way? Seems too many are in too much of a hurry to enjoy alternate, great routes. Longer, maybe. More satisfying, indeed. Interstates have some purpose? Randy
