Question - does it stay connected or reconnect if something like a phone call or GPS direction announcement is made?

So - using an external BlueTooth dongle - does it autoconnect, or stay connected and let the SRC prioritize the connections?

Yes, it autoconnects SLOWLY after the GPS or phone interrupts end. The sync light on the remote dongle flashes rapidly for about 15 seconds before the music continues.

From section 6.3 in the SRC owners manual: "however, after you terminate your call, some MP3 sources may not automatically continue but require manual re-activation."
