Thread: 2011 G650GS tank badges fell off.

    2011 G650GS tank badges fell off.

    After the first ride in a good soaking rain, both the right and left side tank badges fell off my 2011 G650GS. Guess the Chinese glue isn't waterproof....

    If you own one, I recommend re-gluing the badge to the mounting plate as well as the mounting plate to the tank. On one side, the emblem fall off the mounting plate, and on the other side the entire plate fell off. $25 each to replace!

    Well, next time it's in for a check or warranty issue you cal add it to your list.

    Mine fell off too, I replaced them with rubber bumpers...

    I thought only the '09-'10 spoke Mandarin but I am new the the G650.

    If the bade fall off take back to the dealer since still under warranty.We had fork reflector come loose,did not fall off yet and was replaced at no cost to us.
