Viewing Flea Market pictures with Firefox

I used to be able to open the Flea Market ad pictures and they would open in a window on the same page as the ad. By adjusting the location of this picture I could click on the other pictures and they would replace each other until I'd seen them all. It was easy. Now a separate tab opens up and I have to switch back and forth between tabs. I have to click on a picture on the ad page to open in another tab in order to see the pictures if there are several. A lot more mouse action back and forth is required and it is not as convenient. Any way for the previous way to be implemented again? Is it possible I need to adjust something in Firefox?

Same thing happens in IE8. Not sure there's much we can do.

My copy of Firefox (FF 12.0 running on Mac OS 10.6.8) doesn't do that; Flea Market pics open in a new window. Safari behaves the same.

If it's a Mac, open Firefox Preferences > Tabs and make sure the first box ("Open new windows in a new tab instead") is unchecked. I imagine there's a similar setting somewhere in Windows.

DBrick: Your suggestion worked. I'm still puzzled because I've always had Firefox set to open in new tab. Something may have changed in Firefox.
    Thanks for the help.

    You're welcome! Glad it helped.

Searching on the Firefox Help Page:
    http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/home?as=u
yielded several threads where similar behavior was caused by add-on conflicts.
