I have an 01 GS w 80k on the clock. The low beam will be fine for weeks then will stop working. 1st time I removed the bulb, it came on before I actually had it out. Just moving the backing case made it come on. Next time it happened, I slapped it like I'd do on old sealed beams and it came on. Then it wouldn't work at all. Replaced the bulb (although the old bulb looks fine), still didn't work. I opened up the backing plate where the ground and power pins are and they looked clean and the ground screw was tight. I put bulb grease on the bulb connections and the pins inside the backing plate. Put it together and it still didn't work. Went inside to look at my Clymers, came back out and it worked!! All the connections look clean, dry and bright. It's garaged and hasn't been ridden in the rain this year. It seems like a loose ground but I don't know where to look. Wiggling wires has no effect. Any ideas where to look?
Thanks in advance
Ray
