Color Rite Paint. 2008 1200RT

I used the Color Rite paint and clear to repaint the bag lids on my 2009 RT. If you have not painted before practice on something similar first and follow there directions. Mine turned out fine and a good color match.

I wouldnÔÇÖt recommend the red lacquer filler on your project. I havenÔÇÖt used in for years because of lacquers compatibility issues under many top coats. Instead, I would use a catalyzed polyester glazing compound like Evercoat metal glaze which is much less likely to cause problems.

IÔÇÖve done many projects like this, and have used Color Rite on some of them, IÔÇÖve had no problems with it.
