    first look

First look says WIDE LOAD! I realize that the notch in my Jesse's loses some space on the left, but I'd hate to give up narrow maneuvering with those.

But, if they work, good on ya, mate!

You lane splitting or running on the deer path between the trees?

I think that Iphone pic angle makes them look larger...those were on a F650Twin and looked OK.
She went with 9" width for her Thumper...shouldn't be an issue . Her 1150 cases are wider than this setup.

I have Happy Trail boxes on my KLR. There are (were?) two sizes for sale giving you an
option on how wide you want to go. They can be mounted to come off easily, or be hard-mounted.
