As an alternative to the Sherando Lake Rally, you might consider the Twin Valley Rally a little later that month. Weekend of Sept 14-15-16 at Willville Motorcycle Camp in Meadows of Dan, VA ( http://www.willvillebikecamp.com/ )

This is a pre-registration only event as we are limited to 150 riders, so register early as we will likely sell out. Rally fee includes chicken dinner Friday night, and pulled Pork BBQ cooked on site for Saturday. Also entertainment both nights.

Looks like the BMWRAMS are going to Cape Giradeau, Mo. this weekend for their June meeting and to attend a vintage bike show sponcered by Grassroots BMW. The RAMS will campout at Thebes, Il. Thebes Landing RV Park. call Len Day RV Partk mngr. for details . If your looking to camp say your with the RAMS for a discount. Grassroots will be having the bikeshow. There will be lunch deals and dinner rides as well as other bargain deals to be had. Go to the Grassroots website for more details. Maybe I'll get a freight load up that way and be able to attend.
