09 GSA Spoiler...Can I Borrow Yours?

So Touratech makes this clamp-on windshield spoiler extension thingy for the R1200 GSA...I'm trying to increase my wind protection just a little bit...my local BMW parts guy assures me that it will do nothing whatsoever other than obstructing my view of the road...it'll cost me $125 to find out if he's right. Anyone got one hanging around that they'd let me try? We could meet somewhere in New England for a burger and a beer or I'll happily pay shipping to and fro. Thanks. ~Ross

I don't have the TT spoiler you talking about but I do have a laminar lip you can try.

I have one. I use it both on my GSPD with a Parabellum screen and on my R1200R with a Scout Fairing. It makes a big difference, particularly on the R. It is one of those rare farkels that really work. You can try it if you come pick it up. I'm in Montana tonite; Wyoming or maybe Nebraska tomorrow.

Have on on my 07 GSA. Does its job, but if going off road, take it off before it comes off. If you are in the Desert So West, you can try mine

Had one on my 05 GS. A friend got one for his GS and I did a switch with him with it on then off then on. bought one. Made a big difference for my height 5'11". I do not use one on my 08 GSA as the windshield is satisfactory. I must admit I wear ear plugs and don't mind a little wind on my helmet.
