EZ Mount Light Brackets for 1200RT--usable on a Windjammer?

I just got an Omega 450 w alternator and will be using it to light up (and save) my life (from all the testerone freaks and northern drivers with a host of differing traffic laws and skills, not to mention worn out reflexes) on the Florida roads.

Does anyone know if a set of EZ Mount Light Brackets for 1200RT will be able to convert to a Windjammer fairing on a 76 R90/6 twin or can they be mounted on the front triangular members of the frame that are on either side of the twins? There currently are the two front turn indicators mounted on the fairing.

Lastly will they interfere with the installation and mounting of engine guards?
If I'd known riding was this much fun, I'd have been born with wheels!

    These?

What do you mean "convert" to a Windjammer? Hard to say if the can be mounted with engine guards, not knowing what engine guards you have. If the fairing has "lowers" (leg protectors) on it, the answer would be "no".

the front triangular members of the frame that are on either side of the twins?
Are you talking about the fairing mounts?

What you need to do is put the bike together the way you want it (engine guards, fairing, lowers, etc.) and then fit the driving lights. It might be cheaper in the long run to have mounting brackets made by a welding shop, than buying these brackets, and then having them modified.

Can you post a picture of your bike?
