Replacing a Battery the Easiest Way on an 1100RT

I've seen internet posts that claim you can remove a battery from an RT without removing anything but the seat and left fairing. Heck if I can figure out how to tilt the battery out of that small space. The air induction seems to block any chance I have of getting the battery out.

I have a 98 R1100RT. Any suggestions on the easiest way to get the old one out and a new one in?

OK, I figured this out. Remove air cleaner head and slide left air intake out. Duh!
