I got a lens back from repair, this afternoon, and had to try it out. Yep, autofocus works again.

19 BMWMOA Nationals under my belt, and I have no idea what I am doing.

It's that time of year, again. I know the folks on the east coast are digging themselves out of a bunch of snow, but here in the SF Bay Area it is sunny and not very cold and not very wet. How sunny? Today I took my 6 year old grandson for a ride on the vintage bike to Alice's. Seems like eleventy-seven other riders had the same idea including a couple of MOA Ambassadors, Greg Hutchinson and Darryl Richman.

Anyway, the flowers. The Magnolia bushes in the back are often the first to show their stuff.

Looks like I'll have to wait a few more days before the plum trees are in bloom. Note the blue sky.

Another break from winter. The plum blossoms are now mostly open.

    The azalia is blooming, too.

For the first time in 7 years, we have Bluebonnets in our own cactus garden.
Definitely one of the most colorful springs in the Big Bend of Texas!
