Has anyone used rubber grommets on their front rotor? What is your experience? I have replaced mine on my 97K11LT with stock one time and am wondering what I might do when they need replaced again.

I've added it to this thread, but in the future, please add info to the title of every thread.
It helps everyone.
Thanks

I'm sorry, I don't know much about threads and posts and such. I'm not sure what I didn't do or what you want me to do in the furure.
What Lee (and I) would like you to do is to put the year/model of your K bike in the thread title when you start a new thread. At the top of the screen where you're starting the thread is a box with "Title" above it. You put in "front brake rotor rubber grommets" - Lee added your year and model to that.
Doing this does two things..
1. It helps attract people who may have some info to share to the thread.
2. It helps people in the future who are searching for the same info to find the thread.
Win-Win. And easy to do..
Thanks for your cooperation!

greetings randlyn...
are you meaning replacing the metal bobbins with rubber...
j o
Do you mean the bobbins between the rotor and carrier? I hope not... just get a good set of bobbins from Motobins and new tension springs:

Well worth the $$ and last much longer than stock.
