Every since I got an RT all I can wear is Transition 2 jackets and a helmet....where is the culture in this?

I had a HD 883 Sportster and sold it to buy my GS. The Sportster was a great bike for riding around town, but was terrible on the highway. I understand that changing the front springs and rear shocks helps the handling somewhat, but the Sportster will never be a good road bike.

Hard to improve on 1/2 inch of rear shock travel! ;-)

Dat be a Fu Manchu not a handlebar... Geeze! BTW: I find the 883 too powerful and suggest a Honda Z50.

O.K. I'm a newbie here, but that doesn't change the fact that this post is one of the funniest I've seen anywhere! After 16 yrs. on 4 different H D's, I test rode an '06 RT, rode it about 4 miles, and purchased it, all in the same day. Whats the difference? Can you figure out the difference between a 1 ton dualie and a 'Vette? I learned ther
e is more to riding a motorcycle than chrome & noise & leather. All in one day!!!

Officer - I know nothing, and I can prove it!

Maybe because after a long day riding on a BMW, we don't NEED a comfortable hotel room??????

Thumbs up I say go for it.

Getting a Sportster is hands down the best way to convert gasoline into noise without that side effect called Horse Power.

+1 A Sportster is also a good excuse to put more miles on your trailer & pickemuptruck.
