    1993 R100R windshield ?????????

    I just bought a 93 R100R and it came with the OEM windshield. I dont like the windshield so much, its too thick and heavy. I am looking for some ideas and pictures for a little lighter weight windshield. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks !!

    the R100R never came with the OEM windshield.

    1993 R100R windshield

    I've got a 1992 R100R with an old (80's-ish ??) - Daytona fairing and the windshield works fine for me - It came on the bike when I bought it 8 years ago - Have done some research & found it was made in Indianapolis, but the maker has long since apparently disappeared - Don't know if this helps other than maybe to give the idea that OEM windshields/fairings needn't be super current - There are quite a few good fits out there that are older - keep looking -Good luck -

    My '93 R100R has an OEM windshield. The parts fiche list it, anyway.



    I've modified a Parabellum from my GSPD to fit the R since, like the OP, I found the BMW one to be too big and heavy when riding dirt roads.

    On a lighter note: Love my 93 R100R Legend naked. Much lighter that way!!!
