Just in case youre wondering, lots of BMW's actually participate in this race. Several G450's have actually taken the overall in this event, and many HP2's run, if you can hang onto the back of em, and there's always one old airhead who is the real competition if you know what I mean
This forums very own RobNye has competed, and done well! Quite a few other illustrious members of this board have thrown themselves into this abyss and come out the other side drinking beer at the finish line!
If we all pull together, we can even get Visian to sign up this year
Today I am changing tires, changing oil, swapping the old valeo for the repaired Nippondenso starter, and going to the hardware store to locate an m6 or something by 25 hex head bolt to hold the turn signal on
Oh, and a valve check while the engine is cold.
