I'll second Don's comment about Fiamm snails (or similar) in preference to the stock bleaters; the stockers are just awful.

BMW even made a jumper harness to add the 2nd horn.. dunno the PN, but it was cheap for a BMW part.. That's it in: http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/showpost...4&postcount=16 (second photo..)

Looks VERY nice.

A small suggestion. Find someplace selling clear protective film (used on cars) and cover the lower half of the front. If you don't - that lovely paint will get eated up from stuff kicked up from the front tire... even with a fender extension.

Hello Don, Thanks for the reply.

The painter told me the exact same thing and I followed his advice and had the protective film applied last Wednesday; you're right on schedule.

It wasn't cheap but he did a nice job and the protective film is very tough.

As for the 2nd horn, the belly pan kit was short a few pieces of hardware, e.g. body nuts and that infamous square nut that lodges into the lefthand side of the headlight bracket assembly. I ordered that from BWM and received it a couple of weeks ago. I do remember doing a dry run with the second horn and if memory serves me correct, is there a space issue with the headlight adjustment knurled knob?

I don't seem to have the desire right now to "ground" the K75S for a few days. I say a few days as I work very very slowly on my hobby beemer, everything is a minimum 2-beer job in my garage...and then I get sidetracked.

I finally added that second horn and the effect is quite noticeable.

You only need to LOOSEN the rear mount about a 1/2", not completely remove it, to make the spoiler easier to mount.

I read in Haynes that there sometimes shims are needed underneath the rear mount to prevent the belly pan from rubbing on the engine. Mine seems to clear all around fine. Has anyone used shims?
