The painter told me the exact same thing and I followed his advice and had the protective film applied last Wednesday; you're right on schedule.
It wasn't cheap but he did a nice job and the protective film is very tough.
As for the 2nd horn, the belly pan kit was short a few pieces of hardware, e.g. body nuts and that infamous square nut that lodges into the lefthand side of the headlight bracket assembly. I ordered that from BWM and received it a couple of weeks ago. I do remember doing a dry run with the second horn and if memory serves me correct, is there a space issue with the headlight adjustment knurled knob?
I don't seem to have the desire right now to "ground" the K75S for a few days. I say a few days as I work very very slowly on my hobby beemer, everything is a minimum 2-beer job in my garage...and then I get sidetracked.
