I hope you enjoy our digital version for your iPad!

Regarding an Android version, we're constantly reevaluating how best to deliver our magazine to our users. Unfortunately, when Android or iOS apps are written to take full advantage of the strengths of each platform, as we've done with our iOS app, they're generally written in their native programming languages, and these are different languages between platforms. So creating a new version for a different platform is a major task! And currently, engagement (as opposed to market share) for other magazines on Android is only a few percent compared to iOS.

We could have written our app in a language common to both the platforms, but at the time these languages didn't offer the performance and the features we wanted our digital version to have. However, like I said, we're constantly reevaluating that decision so I appreciate hearing from Android users who would like to see the magazine on that platform!

Sandy... Enjoying the iPad app subscription I have. Each issue is visually stunning imo.

Noting the remarks above, is delivery as a Kindle subscription an option? I'm a Kindle and tablet junkie, and with my Time magazine, Sports Illustrated, National Geographic, Newsweek, etc. online subscriptions through Amazon's Kindle, I can view in great and colorful detail each issue on ANY device... Kindle tablets, Android tablets, Apple iPads/iPhones, personal computers, smart phones, etc.

Cycle World, Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, and a growing number of other motorcycle related publications are now available through the Kindle system. Granted, you would probably lose some of the iPad pizzazz and custom features, but for probably less development $money you would reach a larger marketplace, and one could read your fine publication on any platform.

I appreciate the input. It's especially helpful to hear from readers who have found a digital system that's working well for them.

There are always pros and cons to any of these systems and tablets/apps change quickly. We'll keep trying to balance marketshare with the best possible product!
