And south of SF it's the Cabrillo Highway. PCH is the section from Dana Point to Oxnard.North of SF, CA1 is called "Shoreline Highway".
I'll be sure to seek your advices when I finally do make it out there.
I'm sure I could spend a year riding between SF and the Canadian border without getting bored!
