Red Mountain Pass - Million Dollar Highway - Colorado

I know many of you have ridden this gem. Yes? Or are aiming to do so? It is a renown thing. In September, on a weekday, with the sun sinking in the west, it can gratefully be a fairly empty thing, and an even more magical thing...

Three pics from the preceding vid clip. Distractions here, in this lane, can result in "big air"...

    Wow!

By the way, is this one in your book? I've been going through the book picking out rides for next summer. Great fun!

Great road, was on it earlier this month. From the same stretch of road as Farson's first picture, just looking the opposite direction...

Had the joy of watching a skilled truck driver on it as well...

Sure, he went wide a few times, but he could see pretty far up the road when he did.

Thanks, I didn't realize it was the Million Dollar Hwy, and I couldn't find Red Mountain Pass in the index.

    Everyone, thanks much.

Dan... Put this, and the South West Region on your list for next summer!

Earache... You parked on one of the wider spots, but did you lose a saddle bag over the side?

Does kinda look like it - but it's back there someplace. I think.

What was the soundtrack on the first video?

And which video camera was used (e.g. a GoPro HD or ContourHD)?
