Cardo Scala and the Shoie Multitech Helmet

I purchased a Shoie Multitech last month and tried mounting my Cardo Scala headset on/in it. Unfortunately it seems that the guts of the helmet do not come out as easily as my other helmets which I have easily installed this headset into. Has anyone out there overcome this issue without messing up the innards of the Multitech helmet? I really do like the Cardo Scala headset and I've also fallen in love with my Multitech.

I also have the multi-tech and the Scala 4 power-set. You will have to use the tape instead of the screw clamp. Then you fish the wires under the liner and place the speakers. Be careful to make sure you have the tape mount in the right place so the mic lands directly in front of you mouth. The tape is a bugger to get off and is not reusable.

It seems that the liner is glued to the styrofoam in the helmet. Did you have to separate the same to fish the wiring through?
