Attended a couple years ago. Fantastic campground. Watch the entrance if you've never attended. I blew right by it. They usually have a flag man there but he was getting a water or giving directions or something. Good time was had!

On Saturday, we need to go on a mission. It will be a real adventure ride as we have no idea what to expect.
Our family cabin sits on a creek on state game lands about 2 hours north of the rally site. Word has it that a few cabins in the area have washed away this week. Our cabin sits on a creek with a bridge just a few hundred yards from the front door. We hear the road is washed out on either side of the bridge and the bridge is leaning precariously due to a cabin that has crashed against it. So far, no one has been able to get back in there but we are hoping to see if we can get close enough on the bikes to assess damage. The nearest town, Towanda, has not faired well and the pictures are devastating.
Any GS riders care to tag along for an adventure?
Are the roads open in this area?
How did the rallysite make out from the storm?

Any confirmation yet from the Black Diamond Beemers about the condition of the site? Long range forecast looks like a great weekend for the rally!
Received this message from Jodi from the BDB
Hi Terry, as far as I know all roads of ingress and egress to the camp are OK. Looks like GREAT weather for next weekend! See you then.
Thumbs up to the BDB for a great rally in a terrific location. Good food on-site with friendly camp staff. Met Jody while she was zipping around the site, and she gave us first-timers some tips for next year. The flaggers at the entrance were much appreciated. Thanks to all who put in the time and effort before, during, and after the rally.
My only complaint - I need a fleece sleeping bag liner! Chilly nights indeed! Off to REI today to remedy that situation.

Just enjoying the ride.......
The thing about traveling is, you never want it to end and you can't wait to get home.

Glad to hear you all had a good time at the BDB rally!! Tell your BMW buds about it and hopefully we will have an even bigger crowd next year!! Weather was pretty much perfect, right? Okay, just a little chilly...but made the bonfires each night seem extra special! Seriously, the rally is a big event for our relatively small club and there are many people who work really hard on it, so the positive comments are appreciated!!

In the end, you will regret much more those things you didn't do, than those which you did.
