RS Squared - a gathering of R100RS's on the square

    Afternoon folks,

I am pleased to announce a gathering of R100RS Beemers on the square in Bloomsburg on Sat 23rd July at 1pm. We will try and build a flock of these magnificent birds in order to take a great photo.... Please make a note and join us for what should be a real hoot.
If you know anyone with an Airhead RS, please pass on, we need a massive gathering to impress the town!! I will be tickled to be a part of it too!!!
    Lets all be in touch,

Regards to all, safe riding - Mark Lipschitz

Here are photos of the Bloomsburg Fountain area. There is plenty of room; the area includes 11 vehicle parking spaces, two of which are large to handle the handicapped designation. The later are near the restaurant or south side of the fountain. One can also park bikes around the fountain and even up the street that is west. The large brick building is the Masonic Consistory that offers plenty of parking in front and for visitors behind it.

This photo is of the fountain looking westward. RT 11 is the street in front and the restaurant is to the left and the Consistory is the large brick building. This photo is taken in front of PNC Bank.

I don't have a picture of my 84 'RS to share but I'll put this event on my rally calendar.

    Good idea!
Is there a way to post it at the rally somehow to reach more riders? Maybe something at registration?

As a former R100RS owner (I've had two and sorry I sold them) I think this is a very cool idea. If you all want to get the word out I would a) contact Vince at the ON *today* with a very short notice he just might be able to get into the July ON and he could pass on to the people doing the Rally Schedule, and b) I would approach Marc Souliere who is the Registration Chair to see if he would have room for a banner or sign of some type at Registration.

PM me if you need email addresses or other contact information, and good luck!

Thanks to Mark L. and a few others, there will be three gatherings at the fountain on Saturday of rally week (sidecars, RS, and vintage bikes). It will give the townsfolk the opportunity to see the bikes and owners will have a beautiful backdrop for photographing their bikes.

    RS with sidecar

I'm thinking that I might ride my '84 RS with Motorvation sidecar up to the rally. Can't beat the hauling capacity of the rig! If I do ride the RS, I'll be on the Square for this gathering!

Hank...two birds, one stone. There is a sidecar gathering at the square just prior to the RS gig. Sidecars on the Square runs from 11am-1230pm...RSs gather from 1pm.

    see sidecar details here...

    Smile The day looks fun

How is "the group(s)" reservations to eat somewhere going ?

Do you need any legs broken for reservations, goats released into a place to get it cleared out or the place tagged by the health department ? Ideas
