    I also have a R100/7 since new. Bought it new on Feb14, 1978. Last National Rally attended for the old Airhead was Vermont, 2006 on this bike. It also did the Vermont'78 Rally, its first BMW Rally with me. Only fitting I go back on the same bike to Vermont. It was 9800 miles this time(2006) for me to get there and back to the West. First time I lived East in Virginia,1978....The /7 still proved to be a winner all the way in comfort...Good idea Kurt, I vote yes... Randy
