    RT seat fit R?

    I am looking at a R1150RT 'low' seat in 'Flea Market' on this web site. Will a 2002
    R1150RT 'low' seat fit a R1150R bike same year? The one big diff is the RT seat does not have the rear tangs coming out the back like on my R seat. But does that mean it wont fit? The RT seat has rubber bumpers instead.

    I think they are completely different in size as well as shape. I have never heard of anyone swapping an R for an Rt seat. Sorry.

    They won't fit, I looked into a similar swap about 2 yrs ago. The R is its own animal.
