    Motorcycle Movies

    Greetings
The Capitol Restaurant & ChumleyÔÇÖs Bar http://capitolrestaurantandbar.com/Home.htmlin downtown Bloomsburg has a movie screen and runs a classic movie once a month for Dinner and Movie, Jet and I are seeing "Casablanca" on Tuesday, February 21.
I told them about the rally. They would like to show a movie or two maybe even matinees during the rally. When asked what motorcycle movies would like to be seen the only ones I could come up with was the Worlds Fastest Indian (To New), Easy Rider (a maybe). I found a List of biker films http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_biker_films there were a lot of biker movies made.
Chumley's wants to know what the Rally goers want to see? So post your favorite motorcycle movies and I will give the list to them.

Well, someone has to say it--Long Way 'Round/Down. I know this will provoke screams but, heck, I like them.

Cool Feature our very own members !

We ought to feature our own members. I know about our GS community but I need help with our touring community films.

I recommend The GS Experience part One and Two.

Lisa and Simon Thomas have visited Pennsylvania and have ridden the dirt roads between Jamison City and Noxen. Some of which will be a Bloomsburg GS day ride

Chris Morgan is an MOAer who uses his motorcycle as a tool to get into places to study Bears. His film will be featured on PBS in March.

Globeriders has excellent films produced by MOA member Sterling Noren. My non-riding friends like Iceland.

We ought to get Globerider and Tour-a-tec involved...........but be patient there maybe a big fan experience going on at the rally.

But on a hot, humid summer evening in the historic town of Bloomsburg I would like to see Che in The Motorcycle Diaries.

If one cannot command attention by one's admirable qualities one can at least be a nuisance

    Strange BMW part movie

'Eyewitness' has a BMW Airhead playing a major parts in the movie.
Goes riding with a horse, save the damsel in distress, makes quick get aways.
William Hurt and James Woods ride all over New York on a nice Beemer.

    I would recommend Movie-Documentary.
"ONE CRAZY RIDE" by Gaurav Jani.
You will see a real Motorcycle adventure. No powerful motorcycles and no support from the outside world. Not even a designated camera man. The real motorcyclist and the real magical and dangerous road. This movie will touch every motorcycle enthusiast and adventurer.

Good movie, watched that for the first time a couple of weeks ago on Netflix. A man finds out he has one week to live and rides his Norton across the country as one last bucket list item. That is how Netflix basically describes it so I am not a spoiler. Watch it if you have the chance.
