this is what is on the mind of the new owner of Milwaukee BMW
"I think in the future that more people will get into using motorcycles as daily transportation because of the cost of gasoline," Schlossmann said in an interview.
I sure hope this isn't what they think is on the mind of potential customers walking in the door looking for a S1000RR is thinking. "Let's see, 200 horsepower, 400 lbs., oh by the way, what kind of gas mileage does it get. I am looking for something to use to commute to work."

I am posting a lin to this in Bench Racing and the Morning Reads tomorrow from Dealer News.
The Schlossmann Automotive Group has bought BMW Motorcycles of Milwaukee, expanding the company's powersports offerings.
The company plans to retain all of the former dealership's staff and continue doing business as usual at the store.
Schlossmann's sells Chinese Megelli motorcycles and Bennche ATVs and UTVs at Schlossmann Powersports, which is inside the company's Schlossmann's Subaru City car dealership, and plans to add Triumph next month. The company also owns Honda City in Milwaukee and Dodge City in Brookfield.
"We see tremendous opportunity and growth in the powersports market," co-owner Brad Schlossmann said in a statement.

I couldn't pick a Schlossmann out of a crowd of one but I certainly am glad someone sees "tremendous opportunity and growth in the powersports market"
