    And the answer is...

    Tennessee state road 66 between Sneedville and Rogersville.
    A really fun road to travel that makes the curves of Deal's Gap pale by comparison.
    This road certainly doesn't have the number of curves that 129 has but the relatively
    few that it does have are tighter, steeper and way more crooked!

    well, dang! i rode TN70 when doing some, um, tire research. how did i miss this one???

    there are some very subtle clues here....

    clue: rider is the Veg.

    on edit: the Veg is not the subtle clue....

    That's funny. I have a picture of my GS next to that sign posted just above my computer screen. Yours is kinda hard to read, but the yellow sign warns 'HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLES ADVISED NO SERVICES NEXT 120 MILES' Nice. My kinda road.
    That road heads north from NM35 between Gila NF and Mimbres. Spits you out near the VLA.

    wrong state... the mountains in the background are too big. think a little "north" of there.
