    New Throttle Cables

This week I had the throttle cables replaced on my 04 GS with 85,000 miles on the clock. Can not begin to tell you how much of a difference this made in my throttle. It was so tight I could barely turn it and I didn't even realize it. Anyone else ever have this happen? Along with new shocks and tires it feels like a new bike.

Before BMW, I have always "lubed" my cables... and NEVER had one break... Wish we could do that on these bikes.. Oh Oh, now I've gone and done it...

The new ones are totally different cables with adjusters right at the handle bars. apparently updated from 04 to work better and last longer. Much simpler but almost impossible to install without a master mechanic
