These are avocation driven purchases, so it's no different than having a collection of, say, watches. I happen to collect ski and outdoor technical clothing and gear. I just like the stuff; it's a hobby.

In fact I just obtained a vintage Motorrad navy/white roadster
motorcycle jacket ... she is a BEAUTY indeed ! Will not match
my black Series 6 helmet but that is just fine ...
