    A bird in hand.

This little fella was a regular guest at the feeder this past Summer. He would come and eat right out of your hand or perch himself on the shoulder or arm to preen his feathers.

What a cutie! How long did it take you to get birdy comfortable enough to perch on your arm?

He was in the bird bath at the time. All I had to do was to extend my hand on the side and he climbed right-up!
