How to wash BMW Comfort Shell ??

Time to wash the Comfort shell jacket. I can't find anything from BMW on how to wash the comfort shell. I think there is a lot of opions out there but there must be washing instructions from BMW somewhere.

I use Nikwax Techwash available at REI or any outdoor store. It is specifically made for waterproof garments.

You can also refresh the outer shell with a spray on DWR from Nikwax if needed.

The little BMW booklet that came with my CS jacket says:

Machine-wash on the delicate cycle, using BMW Motorrad textile detergent or a conventional delicate detergent. Rinse, then hang to dry (out of direct sunlight).
