Jeff and I did the Oyster Run once. What a complete waste of a riding day. If you want to park your bike and look at ugly Harleys, have fun. If you want to ride, ride in any direction as long as it's not towards Anacortes.
+1
Add to that overflowing Port-a-Potties and too many drunk riders listen to really bad live bands.
But I did get a laugh at some drunk gal in high heeled booted standing on the seat of her bike, dancing, then losing her balance, falling and bouncing off some drunk guys bike, and in the process, knocking her bike to the ground. I about pee'd myself trying not to laugh. That was the highlight of my first, and last, Oyster Run.
Too damn many bikes to list
Here's my favorite thing about the Oyster Run:
It usually rains for the Oyster Run. The forecast for this Sunday has rain. I live about a mile from I-405 in South Snohomish County.
All day Sunday I'll be chuckling to myself as I listen to those guys getting their bikes dirty in the rain as they ride to and from Anacortes on their noisy bikes.
