if so, where did you buy them?
(the kind that are adaquate to start with a depleted battery).
i don't think alagator clips would attach very well, not sure.

Mine were used last weekend.
That's a friend holding my cables before jumping one airhead GS with a shorted cell from another airhead GS. It got us another 20 miles down the road before we had to find a Walmart for an emergency battery replacement.
I purchased the cables off the shelf at my local friendly BMW dealer. They are maybe 6' long and take up a small portion of my 3" x 7" x 10" Pack-it half cube I use to keep air pump, multimeter, emergency supplies, etc.
I have a set of Yuasa 8 ga. cables the have started a few dead bikes. They roll up in a small pouch and store nicely. Small alligator clips have not been an issue.
