K1200 Bad Noise?

In the last few weeks I have noticed a squeeking or Squeeling sound when I let out the clutch from a standing stop, usually worse when it is hot. The 2007 K1200GT has ony 10,700 miles on it but this doesn't sound normal. Performance is not hindered at all and the clutch seems to be performing ok. Any Ideas on what this might be or has anyone seen this before? Thanks

Mine started squealing at around that mileage it got progressively worse until I could no longer shift into neutral at a stop. Turns out the clutch basket was defective allowing way to much play between plates. The dealer replaced the basket under warranty but I had to pay for the new plates as they are considered a wear item. The squealing and subsequent stiff shifting is not dangerous, just annoying in city riding so I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you do a lot of stop and go travel.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't noticed any shifting problems yet but the noise is annoying. The bike is out of warranty. You have any idea what this might cost when and if I have to do this basket replacment?
