Eye candy for sure.

You seem to have a soft spot for those BMW cruisers![]()

How many miles have you accumulated so far on your R1200C with the sidecar attached? I've been intrigued by the look of them, but the single-sided swingarm/ball bearings in the wheel supports arrangements has kept me looking into airheads with tapered bearings and double sided swingarms..
BMWs in my garage: 1982 R65LS, 1978 R100/7
I had one failing. Swapped out the bearing before it failed.
The real problem w/ the "C" is the rear drive is not vented.
I bought it with 35K and now it's at 56K.
The C is made to haul a hack. With all the torque and huge power band it's joy to ride!
I commute to Seattle @ highway speeds, 70 plus.
I love the old airheads... I have one. I doubt I'd hack it though.
