    Question Adjusting Throttle Resistance R12R

Is there a simple method of adjusting the throttle resistance on a 2008 R12R? The throttle on my wife's R is markedly less than on my RT. It is so light so as to make the throttle finicky. Hoping it is a simple adjustment not requiring springs or a purchase from Throttlemeister.

    Springs?

Are they in place on hers? Both sides? You know, I've never looked at mine to see IF they "even" have springs on both sides! I assuming they're supposed to. Randy

How old are the ones on your RT? They might need to be replaced. I've heard of cleaning the Bowden box, but I think it's basically a replace as needed item.

No way I know of. I found an O ring behind the bar-end that contacts the end of the grip, allowing for a neutral throttle (one that stays where it's set) helps a lot in making it easier to modulate smoothly. And it relieves having to hold the throttle open, which if you have RSI is a good thing.
