    Finalizing Service Reminders

You'll now be at the screen below. The suggested values will be filled in for you automatically, namely:

    1. The current date in the bike's calendar will be shown, and may be changed, if it's incorrect.
    2. The date to perform a 1-year service will be calculated and pre-entered into second field, based on today's date.
    3. The next service mileage interval will be calculated and entered into the third field.

Note that even if you're displaying distance in miles, the last value is internally computed as 10,000km, so it will actually suggest adding 6214 miles to the current odometer reading rather than 6000, unless you change this value manually before pressing the button.

    You're done!

    • Put the fairing back on, if you removed it for service tasks like TB sync. (The RT, in particular, requires this step.)
    • Disconnect your GS-911 and pack it away for roadside emergencies.
    • Don't forget to put the cap back on the diagnostic connector!
    • Reconnect your seat heating wires, if appropriate, and reinstall your seats.
    • Congratulate yourself on your mad computer skillz.

I hope you've found this walkthrough to be of some use - if you find any technical inaccuracies or have any comments or criticisms, by all means, do what you do best and post in this thread so we can improve the topic!
