    looks dead simple, providing the circlips don't "act up"

    i certainly hope this means 24K valve adjustment intervals, a potential $45 dollars of "semi spheres" every 6K sounds pretty damn obnoxious.

    Unlikely to need them very often.

    yeah, knowing the usual dohc intervals that'd be my guess as well.

    clearances

    The clearances for the intake are: .13 -.23mm, exhaust are .30-.40mm with engine below 35*C. The DVD has a nifty chart you can print out and record your readings, or make one for your records is easier. My Wurth feeler gauges are in .05mm so I bracked with the go, no go system. Very easy to do. San Jose BMW was kind enough to publish this:
