Tom, glad that you captured the essence of 'life at the edge'. You have a keen eye to the beauty of that area that we call The Cape. - Bob

Monday night in Louisbourg we have the opportunity to walk over to the local live theater in the round. This year is An Evening At A Cape Breton Kitchen Party. Cost about $15. Last year was Spirit of the Island: an evening of music and story telling. This year the presentation will be very similar.

Please excuse the poor quality of the picture but this is a glimpse...

Not only do you get to be on a great ride with some fine folks but you also get a DVD with all of the pictures that we can obtain from participants. Hundreds last year! This is at no extra cost. - Bob and Mary

The long range forecast (trend) is calling for mostly sun next week.... but weather can be a bit of a crap-shoot. Looks good so far though

    What A Beach!

Tour Bay Provincial Park is only 10km/6mi from the Larry's River Base Camp. An excellent and very uncrowded beach awaits. So, if you come early on Monday, this park is a beautiful and quickly accessible visit. Usually seals hover around the rock ledge just off shore.

The forecast for next week is all sunshine with a few clouds for the duration of the rally. There is no better way to see our part of the world. Great news for those able to make it; but for those unable, stay tuned for a ride report with lots of pictures! Ride safe, Bob and Mary

(last minute arrivals ok- see information previously given in this thread)
