    Exclamation Links to...

I see many folks wanting to get into sidecars.
Perhaps we can consolidate informational links here.

    I'll go first.

Some guy named David L. Hough.

Follow this link for training etc.

    Thanks!

    Good man.

Not everybody will be able take the SC course; this info might save a few noob butts for just long enough to gain some (careful) experience. As is the case with riding/driving/flying any conveyance, some of us will be pretty good at it, and will probably die in our beds, versus on the pavement or in the dirt. Others, even after years of experience, will forever be novices, and may pass along bad habits to others. If any of you learn from someone else, make sure they know what the hell they're doing. Reading everything you can find helps you separate golden advice from dangerous, jive-ass dross.

I have NO experience on any rigs but my own, which is perfectly set-up (mui importante!) and which sports Unit front forks and a steering-damper for EZ, precise steering, but --again for newbies reading this, be aware that (IMHO), you must learn (quickly) to use body english when driving a rig -- especially with the chair empty and especially in right-hand turns.

"Unusual" stuff happens with startling swiftness on an outfit, and other than the hand-controls being the same as a 2-wheeler, nothing else is the same. That's what makes it fun, Bubba. . .

    Regards to all
