Life is good...
Raining this morning, so killin' some time with y'all...
Found a beautiful woman that was riding Beemers and got me to switch brands , and has as many bikes as I do, agree to marry me last year...and this place a few years back after stuffing a car and 9 bikes into a 24X24 garage...So, I know about small spaces.
It looked like this within a few months of moving in...one lift and the tire changer...how quick it filled up!
Had two lifts since last year...a friend downsized his living quarters and brought me his new lift last week...free use if he can store/use it here. Already prepping Helen's for an upcoming trip on the new lift. Have a neighbors Honda '83 CB1000 on one at the moment, has been idle for many years. The Dodge came in due to a hailstorm last night...it usually lives outside.
the parking corner...a tad messy as I was emptying sidecases out last night. Chuck's Ol Yeller and the 69S are the guests.
What mancave is complete w/out a couch? A shot from last winter and clutter...the room is a gym ...like I have time to use it lately
and this area...the table seems to collect all sorts of projects

How many miles can you ride that MV before you have to get off?
And where's the RSL?

the RSL was sold a few weeks ago. If I could sell the MV and the Moto Guzzi a K1200R Sport would find its way into the mix..........

Mine just moved into their own place. It's small but nice.
2 in the 2 car garage with room for a 3rd. There is a steel 26'x26' quonset hut in the back yard presently used for storage (Xmas, Thanksgiving, tools , workbench, lead casting equipment, junk, lawn/garden equipment, etc). I'm thinking of cutting a hole in the 8" thick slab floor and placing a motorcycle lift in it so you can drive on/off. The top of the lift is basically level with the slab and out of the way when not in use. I have seen set ups like this and like the idea. I have lots of shade and almost never park my car in the garage. Ride Safe![]()

Home to my two bikes and a 1945 Willys in the summer. Two more bikes I store for my daughter and a friend in the winter.

When I grow up, I want a garage. Within a couple of years, I plan on building one. For now, the 'Tempo' shelter keeps snow/rain of my rigs. Municipal law requires them to be taken down by June 1st, but I live in the last house at the end of a dead end road. No one sees it in the summer so no one complains. It's one step up from a snowbank!

Maybe a little truth there - but no hitching rides. If it breaks on the road it usually gets fixed on the road. But I have dropped off a bike that needed tires or a major service and picked up another so as to not hinder the travels. We did that in 2008 when we got back to the midwest from Alaska. Dropped of the F650s and picked up the R1150R and R1100RS and headed to the MOA national rally.
Later in the year I did major services on both F650s, mounted 4 new tires, etc., when it didn't interfere with prime riding.
This year we headed out - Voni on a K75S. She found an F800S she wanted, but her trade-in was her R1100S. So we rode back to Texas from Iowa to drop off the K75S, picked up her R1100S and rode it to Arkansas, where she bought the F800S, and proceeded with our summer travels.
Folks have to be nimble at times, dontcha know!
p.s. We sold the two F650s so are now back down to the 11 I originally thought we owned.
