    Seat height

Simple question for a wannabe K-bike rider: When it comes to a 2007 K1200GT, how does one know if the owner is telling the truth that he has a "normal" or non-lowered seat? His looks really low in height compared to the pillion seat as viewed from a picture.

Can anyone send me a comparison picture?

The GT has a double step setting for the driver's seat.

If the seat is set to the low level you can tell by looking at the gap between the seat nose and the tank indent. (Green Arrow)

    Hope this helps

Two seats vs Two Seat adjustments

Hello Semper and thanks for the feedback,

I realize there are two seat adjustments like the "R" bikes. However, my question was directed more towards the two seat types available: 800 - 820mm and the 820mm - 840mm. Apparently, it has to do with BMW removing approximately one inch of foam from the driver's seat.
