Tooold...

I have a '84 R80RT with a kickstart. Please tell me why it shouldn't be there and it will only feed my belief that some unseemly things have been done to my bike that i don't know about. I've only had it for 2 years.

By the way, the kick start is basically useless and is more effective at cracking my shin than starting the bike!

I've heard other stories that the kick start is more trouble than it's worth in that they break often.
