Longer throttle cable needed

Hoping to find a 3-4" longer cable for my 2005 R1200 ST since I am raising
the bars. Can I use the OEM cable from the 1200GS or 1200R, any other bike with the same ends? If no OEM cable can match up, any suggestions on A/Mkt cable manufacturer.

Yes a R1200 GS cable will work, I would use the same year as your ST.

I raised mine and have the stock cable on it. I just rerouted it a bit. no problems.

I also have the stock brake line, though I did have to move the hard line up 1/2" to do it.

My handlebars were move above the trippletrees and I made my own bracket to hold them stable. Plus it is my GPS mount as well.
